PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing a bridge capable of suppressing construction cost and maintaining the accuracy of the shape of the bridge while minimizing the occupied space under the bridge. SOLUTION: A bent 12 serving as a temporary pier is installed at a position apart from a first pier 2a in the direction of constructing the bridge 1. A bridge block 4 is installed between the bent 12 and the first pier 2a. A new bent 12 is installed at a position apart from the bent 12 positioned at the outermost end in the installation direction in the direction of installing it. The attitude of each existing bridge block 4 is measured, the completed shape of the bridge 1 is predicted according to the measurement information, and the connection angleεbetween the bridge block 4 positioned at the outermost end in the installation direction and the newly installed bridge block 4 is so determined that the error of shape between the predicted completed shape and a target completed shape comes within the allowable range.
