<p>The motor has a braking disc rotating with the rotor and axially movable on the shaft. It is attracted against a spring pressure by magnetic field of the rotor shaft-circuited winding. Magnetic system excited by the rotor short-circuited winding consists of a cast short-circuiting ring at the rotor stack end face, and of two pole piece rings, gripping it claw-like, placed on the rotor lamination stack and cast into the short-circuiting ring. The pole piece rings are produced, during casting the short-circuiting ring, from a common stamped and formed part. After the casting process, a circular slot is cut in this part concentrical with the short-circuiting ring and separating it into two pole piece rings.</p> |
