SIRNA OF NIK GENE AND THERAPEUTIC AGENT FOR LIVER DISEASES COMPRISING THEREOF

A siRNA, an agent for treating the liver disease containing the siRNA, and a method for inhibiting the activity of NF-kappaB are provided to treat the liver due to HBV by introducing siRNA into the host cell. A siRNA (small interfering RNA) specifically bonds complementary to the mRNA of the NIK (NF-kappaB induction phosphorylase) gene. Preferably the siRNA comprises the sense RNA represented by the sequence number 2, 4 or 6, and the corresponding antisense RNA.
