METHOD OF MANUFACTURING COLOR FILTER

A method for manufacturing a color filter is provided to simplify a manufacturing process by removing a hard baking process and a UV ashing process. A liquid ink layer(130R,130G,130B) is formed inside pixels defined by a black matrix on a substrate. A coating is formed on the surface of the liquid ink layer by drying the liquid ink layer. An over coating solution(150) is coated on the liquid ink layer with the coating. A solid ink layer and a solid over coating layer are formed by hard baking the liquid ink layer and the over coating solution. The hard baking is performed by heating the liquid ink layer and the over coating solution for 30 minutes to 3 hours at a temperature of approximately 100 to 300 degrees centigrade.
