1524150 Ignition systems WIN LIGHTER CORP 5 Nov 1976 [5 June 1976] 46107/76 Heading F1B [Also in Division F4] An electronic ignition circuit for a cigarette lighter comprises a voltage source 30, a charging and discharging circuit B, including a condenser 44, an oscillation circuit A between source 30 and circuit B, including an oscillation transformer 36, an ignition transformer 48 whose stepped-up voltage is applied to spark producing electrodes 50, 50', a thyristor 46 for controlling condenser 44, and a trigger circuit C through which a gate 62 of the thyristor is connected to the low voltage side of transformer 36, circuit C having constant voltage conductivity. A corresponding ignition circuit 18 is included in a gas-fuelled cigarette lighter 10 and is operated by a battery 24 actuated by a push button 26. |
