MAT-TYPE BED SOIL FOR RAISING RICE SEEDLING SUBJECT TO MOLDING AND COMPRESSION PROCESS

A compression molded mat bed soil for raising rice seedling is provided to decrease the weight and to prevent the inferior water absorption, the separation, the expansion and the breakage into powders. A compression molded mat bed soil for raising rice seedling is prepared by mixing 10-25 parts by weight of pulp, 10-50 parts by weight of peatmoss, 15-20 parts by weight of cocopeat and 25-35 parts by weight of vermiculite, pulping the mixture, injecting 0.1-3 kg of nitrogen to the pulped mixture based on 1 sheet of a mat of 150-200 g, and molding, drying and compressing or molding, compressing or drying it. The prepared mat has a thickness of 1-4 mm.
