Cardboard carton for twelve wine glasses - is made from blank with tongues swung inwards to form spacers between panels

A cardboard catron to hold a set of twelve wine glasses is made from a rectangular blank with two pairs of fold lines (2), with twelve cut-outs (6) for the glasses in the main central panel (1). After folding, the portions (4) between the folds form two sides, and the two extremities (3a) are folded underneath to form a base spaced below the top panel (1). All the cut-outs have a D shaped piece connected by a narrow neck to the main panel. These necks as hinges, enabling the pieces to be swung down to act as spacers between top and bottom. The portions (4) between the folds have rectangular flaps (5a) which also fold inwards to act as spacers.
