The data switching system is for the direct connection of data between input and output units. The system has at least two groups of input amplifiers which are designed to be connected to input units. It has at least a group of output amplifiers for supplying the output units and at least an electronically controlled semiconductor switch. This switch can be controlled by a control unit. The outputs of the input amplifier groups can be connected by choice to the inputs of the group or groups of output amplifiers. One of the input or output amplifier groups and or the group of output amplifier are connected to a computer.
