<p>The profiled window-frame bar has a main section from which one or more flanges for the panes extend. A groove in the main section accommodates a component, typically an angle section, whose one flange supports the lower edge of the pane while the other bears against the pane surface furthest from the bar. The component has a pair of legs protruding from the underside of the supporting flange and straddling the lower edge of the groove. The component supporting flange (7) has, near the angle in the component, on the underside, a canting rib (9) by which it is supported from the lower edge of the groove.</p> |
