<p>Electrodes, for spark erosion machining, are made using the lost wax casting process. The lost wax patterns pref. include a shrinkage allowance and centrifugal casting is pref. employed, esp. to obtain a cast structure resulting in virtually no electrode wear during maching. USe Used, e.g., in the mfr. of small electrodes with a complex shape, where it is required produce an accurate contour and vol. when mfg. a die used for the extrusion of rubber, so that the extruded prod. will have the actual size required.</p> |
