<p>The gun crew training equipment is for use with a piece of ordinance having a movable breech with firing equipment for a live round, and is particularly for use in armoured fighting vehicles. The dummy cartridge is combined with an axial barrel tube of reduced range. This has at its rear end an auxiliary breech working with the main one. Where the main breech has an extractor engaging with the cartridge, the dummy cartridge can have a rear block with a similar extraction collar, and the auxiliary breech can be housed in this rear block. The dummy cartride can have a centring bush fitting round the barrel tube and closely inside the main barrel.</p> |
