Isolated power supply for TV receiver line oscillator - makes use of starting pulse derived from demagnetisation circuit and incorporates transformer system

A power supply circuit is used for the horizontal oscillator of a television receiver. It is galvanically isolated from the mains and it has a current transformer having its primary winding in the tube demagnetising circuit and it its secondary winding feeding the horizontal oscillator. The power supply circuit provides the necessary starting pulse on switching on without the need for separate isolation provisions, for the horizontal output stage.
