The hydrostatic motor stator has radially arranged hydraulic cylinders. The piston pair or the smaller piston is connected with a cross-head via a switch control unit in the stator. A distribution unit in a seat of the stator has a rotary distributor in synchronous rotary connection with a two-part rotor via a wedge shaft. The switch control unit has a control plunger supported in a fixed bush in the stator. The piston is connected with a pressure supply via the distribution unit, channels and the control plunger. Control pressure connects the piston face with a return line via different channels and the control plunger.
