The changeover circuit simultaneously changes over several relays supplied from the same source from actuate to hold and is for use in e.g. telephone systems. Once the relays have been actuated, the hold circuit is formed by connecting all the relay coils in series across the source using one relay's contacts. The relays may be divided into groups for this changeover. The advantage lies in reduced power loss.
