<p>A skin pack is produced by placing the article on a base between a table and a covering film stretched on a frame and simultaneously heating the film and bonding it on to the base. The film is laid at a distance from and around the article but spaced apart from the base, and the space between the film and base is evacuated from the base side. Process is suitable for use with common impervious cheap base materials, making sterile and water-tight packs, it lends itself to mass production and to sealing several articles at once, (e.g. in box packs).</p> |
