<p>The stone separator from the potato harvester incorporates a slightly sloping and vibrating trough. Underneath the outlet end of the vibrator trough is a slanting deflector plate with a measuring sensor for measuring the impact impulse. At the outlet end of the vibrator trough is a discharge roller opposite which is a pressure roller with a soft surface, for pressing potatoes or stones against the discharge roller. The discharge roller has grooves in which the lower bars of the vibrator trough fit tangentially. The pressure roller is spring-loaded, and is in the form of a soft brush. Its axial distance from the discharge roller and its height are adjustable.</p> |
