Plastic sack for baled asbestos - is heat shrunk down on to the contents

Asbestos is packed by extruding it from a rectangular pipe into a plastic sack, typically polyethylene or polypropylene being used. The sack is larger than the asbestos bale by at least the thickness of the tube, and so fails to hold its contents neatly. The filled sacks are heated pref. in a tunnel oven for a prescribed period at a prescribed temp. so as to shrink the sack on to the asbestos.
