Lamp support has several notches which, when the support is inserted in a reflector receiving element, grip behind it. The lamp support (10) is made of plastic and has a a plate (12) whose edge (18) carries a sealing ring (19). The receiving element (11) has a conically tapering in the insertion direction (32) sealing surface (31), on which the sealing ring (19) rests when the lamp support (10) is inserted. It applies a radial pressure. Stops (15, 16) ensure that the front plane of the headlight assembly is symmetrically positioned.
