<p>The sealed package prodn. machine has a working station of upper and lower tool, movable relative to each other. A safety unit prevents injury to a hand passing between the tools. One tool section (22) carries a rail (76, 76) to actuate a switch (82, 83). The rail surrounds part of the tool edge. When the working station is open, the rail projects past the tool edge towards the other tool (21). The switch is connected to a control unit for the relative tool movement, and the rail reacts, to interrupt the tool movement towards each other. The switch has a normally closed contact, open in the release position of the switch, and located in the safety circuit of the control unit.</p> |
