A burner and a cooker comprising the same are provided to perform simmer mode in various vessels. A burner(220) comprises a main burner which is installed on a top plate and an auxiliary burner(290) which is installed on the top plate. The main burner combusts gas and heats up food stuff. The auxiliary burner combusts gas and heats up food stuff. The auxiliary burner an auxiliary gas injecting unit(291) wherein a plurality of flame holes are formed, and an auxiliary gas supplying pipe(293) which supplies gas to the auxiliary gas injecting unit.
