<p>An accessory for a pipe smoker has a member (1) with a blade shaped scraper tool (4) one end and a block (5) the other end for pressing loose tobacco down into the bowl of the pipe. This member is attached by a hinge pin (13) to a sleeve (2) which serves as a handle and also a housing for the end of the other member (1). When opened, the device is T shaped, the handle part being gripped. The handle can then be swung round in line with the other member (1) which has a slot in it, so that the member can be pushed telescopically inside the handle, which is hollow, so that it is concealed when carried in the pocket in its closed condition. The body of the tool member and the hollow handle are square.</p> |
