The three circuit brake valve is for pressurised air brake installations in motor vehicles. There are three independent separately-controlled braking systems, e.g. for the front and rear wheels of the engine section and the wheels of the supporting, e.g. tank, section. - Pistons and pressurised air inlet and outlet valves are provided to control the braking pressure in the separate brake circuits. The piston of the first circuit is affected mechanically through a staging element. The piston of the second circuit is affected by the pressure of the first circuit. The third circuit has two tandem-like sequentially-working co-operating relay pistons forming two control chambers.
