METHOD AND APPRATUS FOR DISTRIBUTED POSITION RECOGNITION IN WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK

A distributed location recognizing method for reducing the error of the whole location information in a wireless sensor network and an apparatus thereof are provided to reduce complexity and improve the efficient position awareness of the high accuracy. Neighboring nodes are searched. A probability distribution model indicating distribution probability of the nodes is determined according to the distance(S910). The determined probability distribution model as is applied and the probability that the node exists is calculated. The location of nodes is presumed among the place where the probability that the node exists is high(S930). The process is repeated as an algorithm circulation frequency after the location estimate is performed. The node location estimation step is performed until zero becomes(S940).
