Domestic cooking plates of heat resistant glass have a radiation surface comprising IR burners, a cover plate of ceramic glass, ignition safety, temp. limiting and controlling devices and a vent for the exhaust gases. The gases burn with a flame at the surface of a plate positioned above a combustion chamber, the glass cooking plate covers this and is positioned a little way above it. The space surrounding the radiation burners for the gaseous fuel consists in each case of a ring with a venting stub, each enclosing a jet and fastened to it. The jets are fixed very close to the glass cover plate. Each burner has a thermostat to protect the glass with possibly a control device for the gas flow, and the pilot lighter, the lighting safety device, the thermostat for the temp. control and the device for controlling the energy supply are all in the space between the burner plate and the cooking plate, aligned geometrically and functionally.
|
