In an electrical installation appts., additional clamps (1) are used which are longer than the normal clamps (2). They are attached at the inner end of the normal clamps (2) to the shank of adjusting screws (3) passing through an elongated hole, so that the top of the additional clamp (1) rests on the normal clamp, the gripping points of which pass through a hole in the additional clamp. The end points (1d) of the pressure members are situated adjacent to the extended portions of the gripping arms, and continue to a curved portion forming a hooked hinge above the top end of the clamp.
