Winder control for still camera - has sprocket hole sensor dropping into film after single frame wind-on to block further action of cogs

The cassette camera is operated by a swivel winder which moves a ratchet rack against spring pressure, via a gear train. When the rack has been moved sufficiently the last cog wheel is moved out of engagement using a pin and slot axle while the shutter setting sequence is completed. On releasing the winding lever the cogs re-engage and drive the film transport spool. When a frame has been transported a sprocket hole sensor drops into the film and blocks further action of the cogs, while the winder lever is free to return to its parking setting. The winder mechanism is simple and does not have to be precise for the film transport. The sprung cogs can safely by stopped in any setting without jamming the mechanism.
