Novel prostaglandin analogues of the formulae <IMAGE> and <IMAGE> in which the substituents are defined in the claims, are prepared. The compounds of the formula CLXXXII are prepared by eliminating hydrogen halide from corresponding 14-halo-PGF-type compounds in order to introduce a 13,14--C IDENTICAL C- bond. The compounds of the formula CLXXXII A are obtained from the compounds of the formula CLXXXII by oxidising the 9-hydroxyl group to the keto group. The compounds which are obtained can be used for the same purposes as the correspondingly known prostaglandins. |
