<p>The rubbish sack support has a body of cylindrical or truncated-cone section surrounding the sack completely. Its wall is reinforced by rings and columns of solid metal, and is of perforated or woven metal. The body is topped by a sack securing ring mounted on hinges, and a hinged cover. It also has a gate on hinges, and through which the sack can be removed. The gate cannot be opened until freed by lifting the securing ring. The design gives full protection against gnawing of the sack by rodents, while avoiding the need to lift it out when refuse is collected.</p> |
