Both m and n are preferably 17. Shaped articles, in particular tubular films, are made by extrusion of the solution through an appropriate orifice into an acid coagulation bath, regenerating and washing the product, drying it and then re-moistening it with water. Optionally, between the washing and drying stages, the film may be passed through an aqueous acidic bath of a secondary plasticizer, in particular glycerin. |
