The part P comprises an articulated parallelogram a1-a3 lockably pivoted at bearing BL5 and having a carrier M with lockable bearing BL6, a handle Hm, and switch Sm which when "on" releases all bearings BL1-BL6 and when "off" magnetically locks all the bearings to hold the instrument on carrier M in its adjusted position.
