The pesticides contain, as active substance, novel dioxolane derivatives of the formula (I) <IMAGE> in which R1 denotes hydrogen, C1-C4-alkyl, and R2 denotes the radical <IMAGE> or <IMAGE> and R3 and R4 independently of one another represent hydrogen, halogen, C1-C4-alkyl, methoxy or ethoxy. The active substances of the formula I are prepared by reacting a compound of the formula II <IMAGE> with a compound of the formula III or IV <IMAGE> The novel compositions are distinguished by a good activity against insects which damage harvested crops and in the protection of stored products. |
