<p>In an electrostatographic copying system where a toner image on a photoreceptor is transferred to a copy sheet with transfer charges, which charges are removed from the copy sheet by passing the copy sheet under a detacking corona generator, the body of the copy sheet is supported to insure its stripping from the photoreceptor at a point under the detack corona generating electrode where the transfer charge thereon is only partially neutralized, while a restricted minor area of the lead edge of the copy sheet is stripped further downstream, where it has been substantially fully neutralized, at a fixed position controlled by a mechanical stripper finger.</p> |
