PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graphite intercalation compound in which a sufficient amount of chemical species is inserted into crystal of graphite regardless of a crystal size.SOLUTION: A conductive material according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: graphite that includes a plurality of laminated layers, and has a first surface which is a surface facing an outside of a layer positioned on the outermost surface out of the plurality of layers, and a second surface which is a surface facing an outside of a layer positioned on the outermost surface on a side opposite to the first surface out of the plurality of layers; and metal chloride positioned between each layer of the plurality of layers, in which the graphite has a plurality of holes which open on the first surface and extend toward the second surface while penetrating at least a part of the plurality of layers, and the number of the plurality of holes per unit area on the first surface is one or more per 1 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
