<p>Vehicle number plate comprises a metal plate, a PVC film of which the colour determines the background colour of the plate, the characters themselves, and a transparent PVC film. The two PVC films are bonded by partial fusion and allow the characters to be seen through the upper film while the lower film bonds the assembly to the metal plate underneath by partial fusion. Pref. the plate is mfd. by placing the assembly successively in a hot press to allow plasticisation and in a cold press. to allow cooling without formation of blisters. The outer surface of the plate is smooth, bright and incapable of deterioration, while allowing perfect reading of the characters.</p> |
