The coaxial connector has a male element and a female element which can be interconnected. It has a corresponding plug pin and socket and a retaining structure with bayonet lock. The socket (3) is provided in the female element and has required slots. The socket and its insulating sleeve (5) is contained in retaining structure which (7) is made by shaping from a plane sheet metal to form a cylindrical piece complete with chamber (8) and bayonet fins (10) which te with slots in the male element of the connector.
