<p>The handlebar-brake assembly for bicycles comprises a beam (1) on an upright (8) and provided with vertical side structures (2) of closed polygonal form extending mostly above the beam, connected to a pull cable, and having a hand grip (19) of similar form to the structures (2). The side structures diverge forwardly, and the lower segments (3) are horizontal. The arm (20) of the brake lever (18) is pivoted about a vertical axis by bearings provided in the central front part of the beam. The beam has a stop for the sheath of the cable. The arms of the two brake levers are pivoted on a common axis.</p> |
