Underground heat exchanger for nuclear power stations - and used for agricultural soil heating with moisture replaced by underground water hoses

The underground heat exchanger tubes are esp. used for cooling water pipes of a nuclear power station. The heat exchanger pipes transmit heat to the ground for agricultural purposes. The system prevents drying and shrinking of the soil in the vicinity of the heat exchanger tubes which could act as an insulation layer preventing further heat transfer. Ground watering hoses are placed in the direct vicinity of the heat exchanger pipes underground. The ground is wetted by these underground hoses. Underground venting pipes are also provided. The three kinds of pipes are pref. placed at a depth of about half a metre. The ground moisture content is determined in the direct vicinity of heat exchanger pipes for controlling the water supply.
