<p>The hinge assembly is for use with folding parts of railway vehicle seats. The seat element can take up three positions lowered or inclined horizontal and lifted up. Rotation is around a head rest. The head rest houses a casing (12) fixed to the wall (4). The casing is sector shaped and encloses three rolling surfaces, a horizontal surface (9) and a vertical one (11). The seat element is connected to an arm (7) on which are two rollers (5, 6).
