摘要 <p>In a continuous fluid catalystic cracking process, the coke-contaminated catalyst is passed continuously to a regeneration zone where it is fluidised with a rising stream of O2-contg. gas to form a dense-phase catalytic bed and a dilute catalyst phase, the temp. and regeneration gas flow rate being sufficient to convert practically all the coke into CO2. The dense-phase temp. is pref. 690.6-816.6 degrees C and the dilute-phase temp. is pref. 815.6 degrees C after burning in the dilute phase pref. being practically zero. The flow rate of regeneration gas is pref. adjusted to give an effluent gas contg. >1 vol. % O2. Regenerated catalysts contg. 0-0.1 wt. % coke can be obtained, and the effluent gas contains 0-0.1% CO.</p>
