IR and thermal aiming system for projectiles - brings thermal image of target and projectile to coincide in vision line of night vision device on tracking

The system for locating and firing at a target has a day and night vision devices. The day vision device has ir angle measuring device. The night vision device has thermal image system. The homing projectile is guided at night and in bad weather by the thermal image generated by the night vision device. This information is also used in the day vision device. The ir angle measuring system (2) if the day vision (1) is used also for the night action. The night vision device (6) is aligned with the vision line of the daylight system. After the launching of the projectile (9) the thermal image of projection (9) and the target are brought to coincide in the vision line of the night vision device (6) on tracking with the whole launching system.
