Agricultural fodder handling system - has discharging grab crane which is combined with conveyor belts for loading of system

The handling mechanism is for an agricultural fodder store with a grab crane travelling above the floor, and discharging the fodder. The crane (12, 16, 17) is combined with a system of conveyor belts (10, 14) for receiving the fodder. The belts can be above the crane, which is of the travelling gantry type, there being one running in the lengthwise direction of the building (10), discharging onto a transverse one (14) mounted on the gantry. Each belt has a discharge scraper adjusted by motor. The scraper for the transverse belt can be arranged to revese the belt automatically as it passes under the lengthwise one.
