<p>The container has a mouth closed by a screw cap, together with a pouring spout which forms a liquid-tight joint when fitted to the mouth. The end of a string, chain etc. (4) is attached between the discharge end of the spout (6) and the other end to the inside of the cap (3) so that when not in use the spout is accommodated inside the container. The end of the spout fitting against the inside of the mouth can have a soft sealing ring (11), while the bore of the mouth (2) tapers from inside to outside, or alternatively a tapered insert can be fitted inside the mouth.</p> |
