Refrigerator system without special heat exchanger - brings gaseous and liquid refrigerant into contact for heat exchange before directing to expansion valve

The refrigerator has liquifier, refrigerant collector, evaporator and compressor. The refrigerator design does not include a heat exchanger. The return flow of liquid refrigerant from the refrigerant collector into the liquifier is prevented. The inlet and outlet side refrigerant of different temp. are brought into heat exchanging contact with each other at a position within the refrigerator system. The inlet pressure of the compressor (16) can be regulated. The inlet tube (18) leading from evaporator (15) to the compressor (16) for the evaporated cold refrigerant is brought into contact with the liquid warm refrigerant which is directed to the expansion valve (13).
