PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability in replacing a distance adjustment member, and reduce the space of an area to which the distance adjustment member is attached.SOLUTION: An image sensor unit 1 comprises: a frame 10 that can read a document P placed on a placing member 72 from a side of the placing member 72, and stores a light condenser condensing light from the document P and an image sensor detecting the light condensed by the light condenser; a distance holding member 2 that is attached to the frame 10 and holds a predetermined distance between the frame 10 and the document P; and a distance adjustment member 3 that is interposed between the frame 10 and the distance holding member 2 and adjusts a distance between the frame 10 and the document P.
