In the system for fixing profiled planks, as ceiling and wall cladding units, the lower side of a groove in the plank is held by hooks and fastened to the wall or ceiling. The hooks (6) are mounted on a hook batten (5) at an interval matchin plank (1) width. The outside edge of the groove's bottom side (10) fits against one hook's base, and the edge (11) formed by the plank breadth and tongue (3) meets the base of the next hook (6'). The batten (5) is a self-supporting structural component. The hook tongue may be punched out from it, and bent outwards at the end. In laying, every plank is automatically forced into its correct position.
|
