<p>The laminograph X-ray appts. produces transversal images excluding the patients positioning appts. The cross-sectional propagation of the projected radiation ray bundle, at right-angles to the plane of stratification, is equal to the thickness of the layer. A ray receiver ascertains the intensity of radiation behind the patient by scanning the projected ray bundle. A rotatable support and associated drive are provided for the X-ray measuring appts. A transducer converts the signals delivered from the ray receiver into a form suitable for forming a planigraph. The patients positioning appts. is formed from two units, each with its own transporting belt.</p> |
