Electric lifting device control units - has pneumatic devices fitted on hanger actuating switches installed on device itself

The control units is for electrically-driven lifting devices such as hoists, cranes, travelling crabs etc., the commands being given by hand. These are effected by pneumatic devices (1) on a hanger, working electrical switches (3) on the hoist mechanism itself (4). There can be a separate pneumatic actuator for each direction of rotation of each motor, independent of the other actuators. The air in the pneumatic system can be at atmospheric pressure when none of the controls are operated. Each actuator can comprise an emitter (1) a hose (11) and a receiver (12), the latter acting on the switch as soon as the emitter is pressed.
