<p>Glass lens blank fixing device of a lens edge grinding machine where a flexible holder is connected with one half shaft of the grinding machine and is fixed to one surface of the blank by adhesion. The holder (14, 30) is transparent in its centre and in its edge region (16) which is provided with hair lines (22) or similar markings. The holder (14, 30) can be connected with the lens blank (1) with the aid of an adhesive (26). The flexible transparent holder has an adhesive layer with a cover leaf. Further, the holder (20) carries a central coupling casing (23) which passes through the holder foot. The bottom end of this casing forms a free opening.</p> |
