<p>The detachable towing mirror (10) is clipped under the edge of the bonnet (14) and rests on the side guttering under the bonnet. The mirror arm (11) is hinged on a profiled flat metal pressing (12) which is shaped to conform to the shape of the body edge under the body, and is held securely when the bonnet is closed. The end of the profiled pressing has raised tags (22) which are clipped under a retaining bar (16) attached to the sill so that the pressing cannot be displaced laterally. The mirror is simple to fit and remove, and requires no modification to the vehicle.</p> |
