<p>In a setting gun utilizing an explosive charge for driving fastening elements into a target material, a drum magazine holding both fastening elements and cartridges in receiving bores is rotatably mounted in a housing between a barrel and a breech plug. Separate spring biasing mechanisms hold the barrel and the drum magazine in a non-firing position. In moving the barrel and the drum magazine into the firing position it is necessary to overcome the spring biasing action and to displace both members opposite to the spring biasing direction.</p> |
